Children in this center range in age from 3 years to 5 years of age. All our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid. Your child is always cared for by a loving staff, sensitive to a child's many needs. Our classes and special activities and programs are divided by your child's age and development as follows:
Preschool: Our Pre K-3 and Pre K-4 programs are designed to introduce the three and four year old child to the excitement and enjoyment of learning. The curriculum makes use of fun-filled learning activities in many areas including reading and math readiness, social studies, science, art, and music. Classrooms are organized into centers for learning and exploration.

Early Pre-K 3 Room – Circle Time focuses on letter and number recognition with sounds being incorporated through fun activities. There are interactive themed activities such as cooking, painting, weather and number games which focus on the children’s fine motor skills. The children enjoy music class which helps spark their imagination, creativity and encourages them to focus. There are classroom jobs such as flag holder, calendar helper, weather watcher and line leader which the students participate in every day. There are Spanish and music classes which the children look forward to attending each week. Our teachers enjoy using the Smart Board to teach and reinforce the curriculum. The children have outside time twice daily (weather permitting) and when we are not outside we are using the multi-purpose room to move around. We also provide a report card/evaluation twice a year (January and June) to let you know your child’s progress.
Pre-K 3 Classroom – Our teachers focus on writing, letter recognition and basic math activities that will prepare them for the Pre K-4 classroom. We offer Center Time which incorporates different activities centers such as book corner, blocks, kitchen, Lego table, floor toys and table toys. The children rotate from each center during a one hour period. Our teachers enjoy using the Smart Board which helps make learning fun and interactive while reinforcing the lesson from that day. The children have outside time twice daily (weather permitting) and when we are not outside we are using the multi-purpose room to get our exercise. We also provide a report card/evaluation twice a year (January and June) that lets the parents know their child’s progress.
Pre-K 4 Classroom – The children learn sight words which prepares them for reading. We focus on a letter per week and reinforce the learning with writing and projects. Our teachers emphasize and teach the children how to write their first name, last name, phone number and address. We work on simple addition and subtraction through fun daily activities. Our Pre-K 4 kids learn about science, the weather and the four seasons. The teachers incorporate fun cooking activities that reinforce our lessons. The children attend computer class once a week with Mr. Greg and they learn computer skills which helps to build a great foundation for the future. The children look forward to their weekly Spanish class with Miss Erica and she provides a great introduction to everyday Spanish conversation. The children enjoy learning from the Smart Board because it is interactive and the teachers like it because it is a good tool to use to reinforce the lesson. The Pre-K 4 classroom enjoys outside time twice daily (weather permitting) or they use the multi-purpose room to get some exercise. We provide a report card/evaluation sheet twice a year (January and June) that lets the parents know their child’s progress.
Enrichment Program for children who have missed the October cut-off and are ready for a more challenging curriculum. The teachers use Carson-Dellosa Common Core Supplemental Classroom kit for Kindergarten with their lesson plans. It is based off the Kindergarten Core Curriculum so the children are being taught one of the most up-to-date programs. In the beginning there is a review of the PreK 4 curriculum to see the child’s progress. The children are taught math skills, language arts, more sight words, science experiments and writing skills and do so in a fun and interactive environment. This classroom is geared to get them ready for Kindergarten.
